3 Professors from the DATA Initiative at Northeastern D’Amore-McKim School of Business ranked as world’s top 2% scientists in 2020 Stanford Study
The 2020 update to a study conducted by Stanford University recognized 3 faculty in the DATA Initiative as among the world’s most-cited researchers. Looking at several indicators, this study covers ~7 million scientists in 22 major fields ranging from chemistry to engineering to economics and business.
Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain Nada Sanders ranked 872nd in her subfield last year, Distinguished Professor of Marketing Koen Pauwels ranked 144th in his subfield, and University Distinguished Professor David Lazer ranked 286th in his subfield. DATA brings together top scientists in these different disciplines from Supply Chain (Nada Sanders) to Political Science (David Lazer) and Marketing (DATA Co-founder Koen Pauwels). Other represented fields include Visualization and Design, Intellectual Property, Ethics in Algorithms, and Strategic Human Resource Management.
